The summer months have proven to be full of activity for Paradise. On the development side Paradise currently has five active Walgreens projects.
- Walgreens SW232nd & SW112th, Miami, FL is scheduled to be completed July 2011.
- Walgreens Miller & 93rd Miami, FL permitting will begin July 2011.
- Walgreens US 41 & Del Prado, N. Ft. Myers, FL construction is scheduled to commence third quarter 2012.
- Walgreens US 41 & Turin, Venice, FL is currently under construction, completion is expected for October 2011.
- Walgreens US 41 & Sanibel, Ft. Myers, FL permitting is underway and construction is set to begin fourth quarter 2011.
Paradise Ventures is scheduled to begin construction on the Shoppes at Del Prado during third quarter of 2011. The leasing team is actively gaining tenants before the commencement date for this Publix anchored center.
In other news, the leasing team has been active over the past month. A renewal was executed by H&R Block located in Springs Plaza and the following new leases have been signed:
- Discount Tobacco expanded at Heron Creek with a three year lease. The center is located in Nort Port, FL.
- Sparkle Brite Pools, a pool service, signed a three year lease for a 1,400 SF space.
- Pure Barre, a total body workout center, signed on at Paradise Plaza in Sarasota, FL. Pure Barre is now open.
- A Dentist Office signed a five year lease at Parkwood Square, located in Ellenton, FL.

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of one of our own, Pat Scott. Pat was a member of Paradise on and off for the past 14 years. He began his work with us in our Atlanta office and most recently was based out of South Carolina. Pat always had a positive attitude and was a joy to work with, as well as excelled in his site selection ability.
Pat was an active member of his community and played a major role in the Hospitality Heroes Fund. An organization he served as President for which assists hospitality workers suffering with medical crises.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Scott Family.

A number of new leases have been signed over the past few months at Paradise.
- Bro’s Pizzeria signed a five year lease for 1,200 SF at Clearwater Town Square.
- Tokyo Restaurant signed a new lease for 5,600 SF at the Shoppes of Monroe for a term of five years, in Monroe, GA.
- The Flyin’ Hawaiian signed a five year lease for 4,200 SF located at Paradise Shoppes at Summerville, in Summerville, SC.
Two renewals were also executed during the month of April, Cut N Paradise for a term of three years at The Shoppes of Perry, in Perry, GA and Lakewood Ranch Reality for five years located at the Shoppes of Market Square in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
